Kastraki
Kastraki is another town in the Meteora area, but not as well known to foreigners as - which is the main "gateway" for getting in.
Yet, the smaller Kastraki can barely be avoided, as the road starting from the Great Meteora Monastery passes through it.
Kastraki is generally quieter than Kalambaka. Also filled with many hotels and restaurants.
