One Day in Athens
With less than a full day to burn in Athens, I did a speedy attraction visit.
On the next day I was departing to Meteora and honestly, I put less energy into seeing Athens.
The speedy visit started out at the Syntagma Square, where I watched the changing of the guards in front of the Parliament.
Next came the Athens War Museum and then checked a few other majestic buildings...
Early next morning I rushed to the Larissis train station to take the train to Meteora...
It was closed. But the hardware exposed outside justified the effort I made to take the long walk out there.
