Benidorm's Skyline - Great Views From the South
After having seen Benidorm from the north, I headed south to climb another viewpoint to catch the skyline from another angle.
In fact, I liked this view even more!
This southern peak was at the top of a mountain behind (south of-) the Poniente Beach.
I did the hike when going up, I chose the harder way, but there are trails leading up.
From up here, I was able to enjoy a view that deeply impressed me with its diversity. One of the best city views I've ever seen so far.
I actually liked this view slightly more than the one from the north.

Nice winding road. It must be great living at the top!

A marvelous skyline. I did actually walk that entire distance from one end to the other!

Playa de Poniente and Playa de Levante. With the small peninsula in the middle.

Notice the huge cliff in the far background. That's where Calpe is. One day I'll pay a visit!

The Puig Campana mountain is near the outskirts of Benidorm. I also saw it from Alicante's Playa de San Juan. This peak was at about 7 km (4.3 mi) from the place I took this photo from.
