My Escapes Turkey Istanbul Stop-over Day in Istanbul... Scattered Attractions & Moments on the Streets

Scattered Attractions & Moments on the Streets

May 30, 2014

I've already gone through the presentation of Istanbul's main attractions that I've visited, but I can't help posting a few photos of the areas near my hotel, where I used to take walks...

My hotel (again) was the Hotel Pamphylia, near the Gülhane tram station.

From there, I had easy access to the main attractions found in the Golden Horn area.

Of course, during this trip, pretty much the only top attraction I manage to visit was the Bazaar - quite renowned, indeed.

Otherwise, I frequently took long strolls along the tram line crossing the area.
It runs through the Eminönü seaside area, all the way up through Gülhane, Sultanahmet, all the way up to Aksaray and further...

I did long walks down to the port area (Eminönü) and all the way up to a great intersection found at Aksaray. The latter was a less good-looking area with many shops, places to eat.

But I think I'll just leave you with a few photos of these humble experiences, moments...
