My Escapes Portugal Another Lovely Trip to Portugal! Lisbon In Lisbon Again Flying Away From Lisbon
Flying Away From Lisbon
My second Portuguese travel experience was an uplifting one and leaving the country felt (again) like I was leaving a huge chunk of me behind. I love Portugal.
After all my expectations were topped by the real thing, I was leaving with nostalgia, waiting for a night flight (with screaming kids!).

I miss the taste of Ruby Port wine, the alluring Alfama, the Porto's old feel, the fresh air of the forest near Sintra, checking out the finest details of the azulejos and I was aching for another bite of delicious pastel de nata (pastéis de Belém).

Next time I'd like to stay more in Lisbon and perhaps visit the old town of Tomar, go all the way down to the warm beaches of Algarve, take an escape to the Azores or why not, explore lovely Madeira again!
Portugal has a lot more in store and I can only hope my next escape to this country won't wait another 6 years.
