A Few Hours at Costa da Caparica
My first day in Lisbon was more than just pleasant - it was awesome! And the weather couldn't have been better either, so I decided to take a short trip down to Costa da Caparica.
Having arrived in Lisbon early in the morning, I had plenty of time to look around, explore...
I was going to spend the next 2 nights at Costa da Caparica, having already booked a hotel there - close to the beach!
But weather reports were predicting serious rain for the following 2 days - I immediately thought I'd have to make a slight adjustment to my schedule and go for the beach as soon as possible.
So, I decided to dedicate about 3 hours of my first day to Costa da Caparica - where I was bound to go the next day.
Getting to Costa da Caparica From Lisbon
Getting to Caparica was a bit twisted.
Very few people knew how to get there, buses were a bit late, a single trip ticket cost me a staggering 4.10 EUR and the route was a bit complicated...
Impressions of Costa da Caparica
I honestly expected more, much more.
And, knowing the fact that it cost me 11 EUR to get there and back to Lisbon, anticipating my next 2 days - which I was about to spend at there, I felt some regrets...
